Each room is purpose-built to foster sequential learning through the nursery. Our reading areas and Well-being room promote literacy and a love of reading, while the Sensory Room supports sensory development in a calm and nurturing space. Mealtimes are a joyful, social experience, where children enjoy nutritious meals from a carefully curated menu, promoting healthy choices and interaction

Care and Attachment

At Les Enfants, our key person approach places care and attachment at the heart of everything we do. In our dedicated baby area, we offer a 1:3 ratio for babies, ensuring personalised care and close bonds. Our goal is to create happy, healthy, and thriving children, supported by involved and reassured parents, with strong relationships and open communication at the core of our approach.

Health, Physical and Emotional Wellbeing

At Les Enfants, we prioritise children’s overall wellbeing. We provide fresh, low-sugar meals and encourage daily physical activity. Our environments foster emotional literacy, teaching empathy and self-regulation. Through our Mini Minds Matter programme, we support children’s emotional resilience, while Forest School Sessions and outdoor play promote physical activity, boosting health and readiness for future learning.

Our team of passionate educators are dedicated to continuous professional development. We hold a dedicated training day each year to ensure staff stay at the forefront of early years education. Outdoor Exploration

We believe in the power of outdoor learning. Our Forest School sessions, where children embark on adventures in woodland areas, build independence and confidence as the children are immersed in nature, fostering exploration and resilience. Even as babies, year-round outdoor activities inspire curiosity and a connection with nature.
